The Story Behind
Madrone Technology Group
Madrone was born from a shared desire to simplify technology for businesses in need of comprehensive solutions. Since our inception in 2019, we have been dedicated to helping clients navigate the often daunting task of setting up secure office environments. Fast forward to today, and we have proudly expanded our client base across the country. Our commitment to excellent service, paired with a friendly attitude, has made us a trusted partner for businesses that prioritize both functionality and security in their operations.

Alex Hart
Co-founder / Chief Technology Officer
Alex is responsible for leading Madrone’s information technology strategies and projects. Alex enjoys the team atmosphere of the company and the continuous innovation that the industry as a whole offers. He has over two decades of experience in building teams and highly-available, secure WAN and LAN infrastructure.
Alex has a passion for learning and helping others to succeed. He dedicates a lot of his free time to Scouts BSA, which allows him and his sons invaluable time together, pursuing a passion they share for helping others. Alex also enjoys traveling with his family, attending church, and is always searching for that perfect cup of coffee.

Jake Campbell
Co-founder / Chief Executive Officer
Jake works closely with other leaders within Madrone to cultivate a company that is growing, healthy financially, and ready to adapt to continuous industry changes. Jake is passionate about providing a healthy work-life balance for employees at all levels within the company, making everyone feel valued and supported.
Starting as a hobbyist programmer at the age of six, he now has over 20 years of experience running IT Services Companies and consulting on national projects in both the healthcare and public sectors.
When Jake is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering at church, and teaching everything he knows to his young niece; who has developed a recent interest in building computers and learning about how they work.

Tom Harrison
Co-founder / Chief Operating Officer
Tom works closely with both the leaders of the organization and all of the supporting employees to align long-term company goals with day-to-day operations. After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University he has worked for several decades in many technical logistical management roles, including growing in his role as the manager of IT and Operational support for a startup with millions of active users.
Tom enjoys volunteering and was a key organizer and host of the first Hackathon, Silicon Valley’s Super Happy Dev House and the Hacker Dojo, a non-profit co-working and maker space. Outside of his volunteer work, he enjoys pursuing his hobbies of sailing and cycling, while also spending time with his wife, daughter, and their dogs.

Jeff Thomas
Director of Client Success
Jeff oversees financial and strategic planning, client relationship management, and day-to-day business operations. After receiving his Bachelors in Finance from Santa Clara University in 2009 Jeff pursued a career that has allowed him experiences in many facets of business including accounting, finance, human resources, information technology, and quality control systems. Keeping things simple, working diligently and never forgetting to persevere is his secret to success.
In his spare time, Jeff loves to explore unique cities within the U.S. and has extensively travelled to Asia and Europe. When at home in Florida, he enjoys working on his cars and spending time with family and friends, including his rambunctious lab named Gracie.

Rod Jackson
Director of Sales
Rod's goal is to expand the salesforce of Madrone across the United States and provide clients with a predictable and positive outcome. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Business in 1990 from Southern Oregon University he began his journey to a career in sales. This led him to over two decades in numerous mortgage leadership roles from Branch Manager to Divisional Manager up until 2024 when he decided to make a move to technology.
He is passionate about providing solutions to clients’ needs and wants everyone he works with to receive the support they need to ultimately be successful. Rod believes that “The world has changed, and technology is at the forefront of a successful and safe business.”

Alex Wilfong
Lead Technical Support Specialist
Alex oversees the Technical Support Specialist team’s day-to-day activities, ongoing training and development, and problem solving activities for client solutions. Prior to joining Madrone Technology Group, Alex had many years of experience working in retail, operations and inventory management, as well as many customer service roles.
After joining Madrone Technology Group he has expanded his knowledge exponentially in the technical side of the IT industry and enjoys the daily challenges that come with it.
Alex is currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Western Governors University to grow his knowledge in a field that he’s been passionate about since childhood. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, their daughters, and volunteering at his church.
